The Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD) for Force Health Protection & Readiness (FHP&R) serves as the principal staff assistant and advisor to the Assistant Secretary of Defense (Health Affairs) for all DoD deployment medicine policies, programs, and activities.
